With the 2019 season over, I would like to remind everyone that our 2019 awards night is fast approaching and there are still tickets available to purchase.
Our awards night will take place on Saturday 12th October at The Boxmoor Playhouse 72 St.Johns Rd, Boxmoor, Hemel Hempstead, HP1 1NP
The 2019 season has been one of if not the most successful season in recent history and we have much as a club to celebrate, On Saturdays our three league teams had excellent individual seasons, the 1st XI won their division losing just one game, a strong finish to the season moved the 2nd XI into third place with a possibility of promotion and the 3rd XI exceeded everyone's expectations and finished runners up in their division. Sunday's saw our 1st XI win well over half their games and the Blackbirds continued to provide a taste of adult cricket for aspiring juniors and those new to the game. Our junior teams performed well across all age groups with the Under 10's reaching the county finals day.
The evening will comprise of combined Adult and Junior awards, a disco for those of you that like to boogie, there will also be food laid on and a raffle with some prizes well worth winning
A family ticket costs £20, an individual ticket is £10 and junior tickets just £3, tickets are available on the night but we need to know you are coming and would prefer that all tickets are purchased well ahead of the day

The club doesn't run this event to make money the truth is we expect to make a loss, the reason we hold the awards night is because we want everyone to come together and have a night to remember and share in all our success's as a club. We do however need this end of season event to be well attended to make our commitment to holding awards night worthwhile.
It would be great to see as many of our members there as possible and for everyone to celebrate a fantastic 2019
