Winter practice runs from January to March, on selected Tuesdays and Fridays, in the evenings.
They’re at local schools here in Hemel Hempstead.

Membership rates for the full year are below. Unlike other clubs, there are no ‘family’ fees on top and no
hidden extras - just a single payment for the year.
There is no charge for year 3 or younger, neither is there any charge to come & try out.
Subs cover all training, matches & tournaments throughout the summer plus winter term indoor
practice. It also gives parents access to our clubhouse and bar, where prices reflect the very
sociable nature of the club.

Junior cricket was reintroduced to Boxmoor in 2008 and we achieved Club Mark accreditation three years later. Our ambition is to foster a lifelong love of the game. We now have nearly 100 boys and girls learning the game. They play competitive matches in the Herts Junior Cricket League (summer term); we enter teams from year 4 up to year 10. Older boys and girls can play in our adult teams.
In 2014 we introduced our first girls team. This is run jointly with our neighbours Hemel Hempstead Town CC, under the banner "Grand Union Cricket Club" with three teams at u11, u13 and u15. Girls can also play in mixed teams up to two years below their own age.
Younger children in years R 1 & 2 can join our All Stars group - we’re part of this nationwide
programme, that the ECB organises. These sessions take place on Saturday mornings 9-10am in the
summer term, at our clubhouse.
