Junior Cricket

Boxmoor CC Juniors

Junior cricket was reintroduced to Boxmoor in 2008 and we achieved Club Mark accreditation three years later. Our ambition is to foster a life long love of the game.We aim to elevate Junior players into the Senior ranks of our Saturday League Teams and Sunday League & Friendly Teams.

About
All boys and girls are welcome, regardless of experience and ability. If you are interested in joining please get in touch with via the contact form below.

Outdoor practice sessions are Saturday mornings on Blackbirds Moor in the Summer.

Winter practice sessions are run on Thursday evenings at a local school in Hemel Hempstead from January to April.

We have around 80 boys and girls learning the game and playing competitive games in the Hertfordshire Junior League where we are running squads from year 3 to year 10 for the 2024 season.

In 2014 we introduced our first Girl's team and many of the girls also play in mixed teams up to two years below their age. In 2017 we joined the ECB's All Stars Cricket initiative, offering an introduction to children in years R 1 & 2 and these sessions take place on Saturday mornings.
