Good afternoon everyone

The club has two important events happening in October that we would like to draw everyone's attention

to and ask that everyone in the club get behind and support.

Firstly, a team from the Club will be walking from Lord's Cricket Ground in Marylebone, London to the

St. John's Road Oval on Sunday 6 October. Led by first team skipper, Richard Crowther, and aided by a

dedicated support team, this team of intrepid volunteers are seeking to raise money for The Hospice of

St. Francis in Berkhamsted, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary in 2019, and to raise money for the

continued development of playing facilities at Boxmoor Cricket club. These improvements include the

new sightscreens, improvements to the nets, and essential investment in the equipment used to maintain

The following weekend, on Saturday 12 October, we are holding our annual awards night for junior and

senior teams at The Boxmoor Playhouse from 6pm. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased at the

Pavilion Bar. We hope to see members, and their families, on the night.
