Yesterday was an incredibly sad day for everyone with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. She had given remarkable service to the UK and Commonwealth for 70 years, being the UK's longest serving monarch. 

With sporting fixtures being cancelled over the weekend, we have discussed whether we cancel our 165th celebration day tomorrow. Having taken a view from various members we have made the decision to continue with the event but will do this in a respectful manner which will include a minute's silence before the game which will commence at 13:30. As planned there will be a bbq, the bar will be open, and the senior awards will be awarded at around 6:30pm.

If anyone who is involved tomorrow from a playing, spectating or admin side doesn't now feel comfortable taking part, we will fully understand and respect that.

 We hope as many people can attend and enjoy our anniversary, whilst also celebrating the life of Her Majesty.
