Dear All

We have now heard from the Herts League that the shortened league season will not start until 18 July; this is to allow adequate time for the yet-to-be-published ECB guidelines on safe game management to be absorbed and implemented. We will share our implementation plans and the league's advice as soon as possible. The league are also proposing to extend the season by one weekend so that the shortened league season will still consist of 50% of the originally planned fixtures (i.e. 9 games) and will finish on 12 September. This is subject to ground availability, which the league are reviewing with clubs this week.

In short, this means there will be no senior cricket at the Moor on Saturday 11 July but we are taking a Sunday XI to Ley Hill on 12 July.

Thank you to everyone who updated the website with their availability (please continue to do so) and I am sorry that we are not starting to play this Saturday.
