22 Aug 2017 : Boxmoor CC Awards Night

This year we have taken the decision to merge both our junior & senior end of season celebrations in a club first combined club awards night, this will give us an opportunity to celebrate our success as a club together, being part of a club where everyone is an equal is an important part of Boxmoor Cricket Club's philosophy moving forward and the Awards night is an ideal way for us to bring the club together and have a night to remember.

The Awards night will be held at Hemel Hempstead Town Football Club on Saturday 30th September from 7pm onwards and entry will be via ticket only.

Tickets cost £10 per Adult and Juniors go free, tickets can be purchased at the club from the bar or by contacting Matt Larkins via mattjl72@btinternet.com

The cost of the ticket includes a buffet and a disco, this event is being run to cover costs and if a surplus is generated then this will be put back into the club in such a way that will benefit all members & user's of the club. The more members that attend the better the night will be and we could be celebrating more than you might expect ( from a cricket perspective )

Hope To See You There !!

Matt

31 Jul 2017 : Fixture Secretary

After many seasons as the club's fixture secretary Colin Hollick has decided that this current season will be his last, Colin has worked tirelessly to ensure the club has a full fixture list both junior and senior and without club members like Colin we wouldn't have cricket at the Moor and a thriving club.

The club will be looking for a new fixture secretary for the 2018 season, anyone who would like some more details about this role should contact Matt via mattjl72@btinternet.com for more details in addition to the brief summary of the role below.

The fixture secretary is responsible for arranging all senior & junior fixtures, liaising with coaches, captains & groundsmen, updating the website and communicating club details with opposing clubs.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Colin for everything that he has done for the club as fixture secretary, umpire and collator of club records & history

 Matt

20 Jul 2017 : Sponsorship - Cambridge Motors

Further good news on the sponsorship front as Cambridge Motors have decided to continue their sponsorship of the Club for another season. They are the Club’s longest sponsor and I'm delighted that the joint owners Philip King and Anthony Deer have continued with their support for another year.

Cambridge Motors are a well established firm in Hemel and are based at the top of Northridge Way in Hemel supplying a range of cars to suit all needs and requirements for personal or business use. If they do not hold a particular car in stock they will be able to source it or provide advice on viable alternatives.

Phil and Tony have access to hundreds of cars through online and trade contacts so if you do not see the car you want, or you have a specific requirement please give them a visit and they can show you a selection of cars available from their wholesale sources. Many of these vehicles are under 3 years old and very low mileage, all with full service history and prepared to the highest standards.
