Hope you're keeping well.
With football on its way home and week 10 of the Herts League just around the corner, this weekend is shaping up to be a busy one so please see below a summary of action:
Friday Night
The weekend starts early - We're hosting a social T20 against Berko CC at The Moor. Match starts at 6pm, the bar will be open 5.30 till late and we're hoping to fire up the BBQ too. Please come along to support.
Saturday
Another Super Saturday could on the cards thanks to the fantastic availability this week!
- The 1st XI have had a great start to the season winning 6 of their first 7 games and will be looking to get back to winning ways away to Old Albanians 2's
- The 2nd XI are comfortably sat in 3rd place and will be looking for another 30 points against Stevenage 4's at The Moor to help with their push into the top 2.
- The 3rd XI are getting stronger week by week. Off the back of 2 games against sides who probably shouldn't be in the regional division, the have their eyes firmly set on beating Old Albanians 4's Away.
- The 4th XI are back in action this week after a late concession from their opposition last week. They're playing Northwood Town 5's at Galley Hill and will be looking for their (hypothetical) 30 points too.
Sunday
2 games scheduled for Sunday:
- The 1st XI are at The Moor facing Old Minchendenians
- The 2nd XI are away to our friends up at Ley Hill.
Both sides are still looking for an extra player so if you're keen, please reach out.
Sunday Evening
Last but obviously not least, the football will be back on the big screen on Sunday evening. It would be great to see to see as many of down at the moor as possible - I think I heard the chairman say there will be £1 shots every time England score too so get those Monday morning holiday requests in asap!
As ever, Covid restrictions will be in place through out the above events so please familiarize yourself with the attached guidance before attending the club.
