Match report A pleasant Sunday morning (at last) saw Boxmoor host HHTCC's u12 girl's side. Neither side had had as much preparation time as they would have liked but it was a close game between two well matched sides. Boxmoor won the toss and elected to field. All Boxmoor's bowlers bowled well, with Davis taking the first wicket of the season with a well taken caught and bowled. The Hemel girls were running tight singles to good effect, but it was eventually their undoing as some smart ground fielding picked up 3 run outs.

Set 214 to win, Boxmoor were immediately put on the backfoot by some excellent left arm bowling from Skipper Tyson (3/0/3-7)who led from the front also claiming two sharp catches in the covers. Buckley also bowled well to prevent Boxmoor ever passing 220, but with the experienced captain Larkins just required to block out the last over, Boxmoor won by just 2 runs.
