Match report The semi-fina victory over St Margaretsbury wasn't the first time Boxmoor had pulled off an eleventh hour miracle this season, having snatched an impossible victory at West Herts 3 weeks earlier, and it was the Watford based side who were to be the co-finalists following their convincing win over Datchworth in the other semi-final.

Atty Adhyankar's 32 retired put West Herts in a commanding position at 57-2 after 10 overs. A long break for rain worked in Boxmoor's favour, with David Snow taking 5 for 5 in 15 balls well supported by Paul Boyall holding two good catches in the deep and Matt Edmonds clinging on to a catch whilst colliding full tilt with one of his team mates. West Herts lost their last 7 wickets for only 6 runs. Chasing 65 for victory, captain Jamie Vincent-Jones (23) lead from the front, and a rapid 15 from Luke Flynn swung the game firmly Boxmoor's way. Wickets fell regularly in a helpful track, but the nervy middle order chipped away at the target. With time and wickets running out, Matt Edmonds stepped up to pull a short ball for 4 to win the game by 2 wickets with 8 balls to spare. This was a real team effort and the first Boxmoor title at any level since 1989.
