Match report Boxmoor won the toss and decided to bowl on a warm sunny evening. Despite the early loss of Hodson, Bryant (18)and Clement (17) batted with style and control, but Boxmoor's fielding was excellent throughout. Stunning (or stinging)catches from Stokley (2), Flynn and Swales meant that only Waller (10) was able to reach double figures from then on. The pick of the bowlers were Stokley (4/1/4-0) Snow (3 for 12) and Swales (4 for 11).

Having bowled the visitors out for 81, Boxmoor were confident of securing their first win. That was quickly ended by a flurry of reckless attacking shots, with Waller (3 for 8)ripping through the middle order. Only Dean (12) looked likely to win the game, but all 9 of Chorleywood's bowlers helped restrict Boxmoor to 47-9 in their 20 overs.
