Match report A Slow wicket greeted Boxmoor, on the trip to Old Finchleians 2's, and on losing the Toss Boxmoor were asked to bowl first, Hodgins taking the first 2 wickets, but by the drinks break OF were 120 for 2. Then the Introduction to the bowling attack of Richard Crowther proved a great move, RC took 7-30 in 11 overs and reduced OF to 183 all out.
In reply the Boxmoor batting got of to a slow start, being 25-2 from 8 overs, but the stroke making of Eran Kasthuriachchi was suited to this pitch and support from Crowther, Tim Wright, Hodgins and finally David Marke, saw Boxmoor to the win and just as importantly Eran to his first Saturday 100, E hitting the last 2 runs to seal both the win and his ton.
