Match report Boxmoor 1st X1 recorded a win over Old Camdenians on a damp track in North London in their opening fixture of the season. Winning the toss and electing to bat Boxmoor made solid progress with Luke Hinton (22) and Nick Harper (63) posting an opening stand of 42 before a massive collapse threatened to undo Harper's good work as Moor lost 8 wickets for just 13 runs. A good debut innings of 17 Not Out from David Marke helped to stabilise the innings and on a difficult pitch Boxmoor's total of 146 looked competitive.

After opening bowlers Dan Greaves (3-29) and Matt Hodgins (3-30) sliced through the Camdenians top order Boxmoor were in the box seat and after some middle order resistance Vince Slade (4-23) extracted good bounce to polish off the tail and register a 44 run victory for the Hemel Hempstead based outfit.
