Boxmoor Cricket Club Under 11s v Hemel Hempstead on Tue 06 May 2008 at 6pm
Boxmoor Cricket Club Lost by 81 runs

Match report Hemel batted first on a glorious sunny evening at The Boxmoor Oval. George K, Olly S and James did well with their first proper bowl, Olly taking 2 for 6 in his overs. The Hemel batsmen took their singles well, and some good shots from Harry saw the visiting neighbours post 235. Boxmoor’s chase was hampered by a regular loss of wickets to some straight bowling from Sam and an excellent catch from Jake, taken over his head whilst running backwards. Harry and Matt’s bowling was quick and accurate causing problems throughout, and they were well supported by some neat ground fielding. Boxmoor’s last pair might still have pinched the game, but in spite of Olly D’s efforts with the bat, Hemel won the game comfortably.
