Match report A rusty batting performance and some indifferent running meant Boxmoor slumped to 62 all out in the County Semi-Final with only the opening pair of Jamie Vincent-Jones (14) and Oli Davis (12) reaching double figures. Two undefeated boundaries from number 10 Matt Edmonds did show that the team could score runs right to the end, but not batting the full 20 suggested that Boxmoor were in trouble.

Luke Flynn (4/0/3-17) accounted for the St Margaretsbury top order, but they steadily progressed to 58 for 4 and with plenty of overs remaining, Boxmoor were staring down the barrel. Enter Oran Swales and typifying this season's unmatchable fighting spirit took four wickets in four balls with the score on 61. A panicked run out in the next over saw St Margretsbury all out and Boxmoor into the final against West Herts.
