Boxmoor Cricket Club Under 9s v Tring Park 1 on Sun 23 May 2010 at 10.00 am
Boxmoor Cricket Club Won By 50 Runs

Match report Tring Park 1 won the toss and decided to field first on a beautiful Sunday morning at the Moor. An excellent team batting display enabled us to reach 285 - 3 from our 16 overs, the recent batting practice seems to have worked as each batsman combined positive shots with good defensive technique, however more runs were available to each batsman if they improved their running and calling between the wicket.
As per usual our bowling was top notch, Early wickets put Tring Park on the back foot, combined with good fielding, 285 proved to be too much for the Tring Park batsman, although a good knock of 26 from batsman number 7 put some respectability to the overall score of 235 - 6.
After our next fixture against Redbourn on Thursday we will have played each team once with the reverse fixtures to come, so it will be interesting to see if we can improve upon the first half of the season.
