Match report Batting first we put up an improved performance, learning from some of the mistakes we made against Berkhamsted, our batsmen applied themselves well against some accurate bowling. However we were unable to put enough runs on the board to give ourselves a defendable target, with only one of the batsmen reaching double figures.
In response the Kings Langley batsmen were very watchful and whilst our bowling was good and our fielding enthusiastic we never looked as if we were going to pick up the wickets we needed to put the Kings Langley batsmen under any sort of pressure.
A good game with plenty of positive's to come out of the match, the teamwork and team ethic were evident again in the way the team continued to try their best until the end of the game, and our bowling was more accurate than in our previous matches and our batting whilst not perfect was a step forward.
