Match report Potten End won the toss and put Boxmoor in on a scorching Sunday morning. Smith (21) once again got the innings away to a solid start, running well with Dean (11). With Potten End's much improved bowling, and some good fielding exploiting some hesitant calling and running, it took an excellent partnership between Stokley (19 not out) and Davis (26 not out) to see the home side get to a defendable total on a lightning quick outfield.

Derby (19) and Burnell (21) helped put Potten End in a strong position at the half way point, which Chapman (23) was able to build upon, but a miserly 4 overs from Jack Batten (4/1/1-9) supported by Stokley (3/0/1-16) and Harper (3/1/2-10) and a sharp catch at short midwicket by Clark stifled the visitors' middle order.
