Match report The home team elected to bat, but were unable to reach double figures in the face of some sustained accurate bowling by all the Boxmoor bowlers. Captain Harper (4/1/3-9)led the way, supported by Smith (2-7) and Stokley 3/0/1-7). Fielders turned in a good performance too with good catches from Dean (2), Smith, Flynn and Vincent-Jones and a direct hit run-out by Stokley.

Needing only 3 an over, Boxmoor were quickly in trouble at 9 for 3 sparking memories of the earlier fixture where Boxmoor had been 22 all out. However some, perhaps over generous, rotation of bowlers allowed Trevillion (12), Wilson (14), Davis (13 not out) and Flynn (6 not out) to chase down the target with 6 overs left.
