Match report A 74 run victory extended the Saturday 2nd XI winning run to 2 games, A good batting wicket saw Boxmoor score 265 for 7 from 50 overs. Chris Wright top scored with a stylish hundred falling for exactly 100 runs in which he and opening partner Keith Hammond shared an opening partnership of 102 runs. Majid Iqbal continued to impress with a hard hitting 54 before he ran himself out, Adam Cullinane kept the scoreboard ticking over with 30 not out helping set a challenging target for Bamville.
In reply Bamville set out to make a game of it scoring at 8 an over, mainly due to opener A Kubair who top scored with 95 with only 3 other Bamville players reaching double figure's. Pick of the Boxmoor bowler's were Prateek 3 for 29 and Dave Young 2 for 31.
Another good team performance improving on what was achieved last week set's us up nicely for the forthcoming league fixture next saturday against Chorleywood III away.
