Afternoon,
Although the current weather might not reflect it, the cricket season is finally here and after 2 weekends of cancelled games due to the recent wet conditions let's hope that this coming weekend the sun is out to celebrate the start of the league season on Saturday and the Sunday season of friendly fixtures.
The Saturday 1st XI kick off proceedings at the Moor with a home game vs Allenburys & County Hall II's, our 2nd XI have a local derby first up vs Leverstock Green III's and our 3rd XI make the short journey to Watford to play West Herts V's.
Meanwhile on Sunday our 1st XI travel to Studham and the Blackbirds entertain the Occassional's at the Moor.
Early season availability can be a challenge at times and this season would appear to be no exception, losing our pre-season friendlies certainly hasn't helped, The selection committee meet every Tuesday to pick the teams for the coming weekend's fixtures so can we ask that everybody updates the website by 6pm on Tuesday to make the job of the selection committee as easy as possible. If you are not available please update the website accordingly as this will ensure we have all the information to hand when it comes to selecting teams for this weekend.
